We were delighted to run a workshop during Teaching Innovation Week at the Faculty of International Relations, Prague University of Economics and Business, built around the Celemi Sustainability™ – People, Planet, Profit simulation. A big thank you to Pavel Hnát and the entire faculty for the opportunity and for being open to new ways of learning – ones that go beyond listening and invite people to think, make decisions and connect the dots.
The simulation made it very clear just how challenging it is to find the right balance in practice: what is good for the planet, what is right for people and what is economically sustainable at the same time. Every decision affects all three areas – and that is exactly what changes the way we think about sustainability.

The Celemi simulation is built around three interconnected pillars. None of them can be sacrificed for the sake of another – and participants experience that tension firsthand.
People
Engaged employees, fair conditions and community. A company as part of society.
Planet
Environmental responsibility as an investment, not a cost. A long-term commitment to the planet.
Profit
Economic sustainability as the foundation. Without profit, no good idea can survive.
In the Celemi simulation, environmental responsibility does not mean higher operating costs. Quite the opposite – participants gradually discover that sustainable decision-making can lead to greater cost efficiency, more loyal employees and a stronger market position. Sustainability stops being a burden and becomes an opportunity.
What is Celemi Sustainability™?
Celemi Sustainability™ is a full-day facilitated business simulation in which teams run a fictional company undergoing a major transformation – from a traditional model to a circular and sustainable business. Every decision affects people, the planet and profitability at the same time. No theory – just real-world dilemmas and their consequences.
A full day with real momentum
4–7 hours of intensive teamwork. A dynamic format that keeps participants engaged from morning to afternoon.
Team collaboration
Teams of 3–5 people, with no limit on the number of teams. Standard group size is 12–30 participants per facilitator.
Immediate feedback
You see the results of your decisions immediately. Each round brings new insights and an opportunity to adjust your strategy.
In person or online
The simulation works equally well face-to-face and virtually. Available in more than 10 languages.
