Purpose of the document

The purpose of this document is to provide current or potential clients of projectYOU s.r.o., ID: 198 555 32, with its registered office at Hálův statek 1584/1, Prague 102 00 (hereinafter referred to as projectYOU), with clear and understandable information primarily about:

  • what personal data we collect and for what purposes,

  • how we process personal data and ensure their protection,

  • our legal basis for processing personal data,

  • to whom we may disclose personal data,

  • the rights of clients in relation to the personal data we process.

Processing of personal data

Personal data are information about an identified or identifiable natural person. Typical personal data can include name, surname, phone number, email, home address, social security number, gender, occupation, etc. It applies that from the given data or a combination of such data, it must be possible to deduce a specific person.

Processing personal data means any systematic work with personal data, whether on a computer or in paper form. According to legal regulations, the term processing personal data includes any action in relation to personal data, whether by automated procedures or without them. This includes, in particular, the collection and recording of data, its storage on data carriers, disclosure, dissemination, publication, retention, restriction, deletion, or destruction of personal data.

We process personal data in case of reasons established by law, possibly based on our legitimate interest or to fulfill a concluded contract. If none of these reasons apply, we always request your consent.

I agree to the taking and storing of photos and videos within the programs and services for internal purposes, promoting projectYOU, including publishing these photos and videos on social networks and the projectYOU website. I give this consent for a period of 5 years from its provision. At any time during the contractual relationship, you can withdraw the given consents. Withdrawing such consent is not an obstacle to further use of projectYOU's services.

Personal data

In case of your explicit interest in projectYOU's services and in the event of subsequent use of projectYOU's services, we primarily retain the following information:

  • name,

  • surname,

  • telephone,

  • email address,

  • job position,

  • employer,

  • photograph, if you have given consent,

  • audio/video recordings from workshops, if you have given consent,

  • IP address/cookies.

These data are used for the purposes described below and possibly also for purposes within the scope of your given consent.

Purposes of processing

  • Contract negotiation,

    Providing projectYOU's services,

    Gathering feedback,

    Offering additional services,

    Fulfilling legal obligations (e.g., accounting),

    Protecting our rights and legitimate interests,

    Marketing communication.

Terms

projectYOU retains personal data for the legally mandated period of up to 10 years, as per accounting and tax regulations, or for the period specified in the client's consent. In the case of contract fulfillment, data is kept for the duration of the contract and for up to 4 years after its termination to protect our interests. Other personal data is deleted immediately after the purpose of processing has been fulfilled.

Method of processing

Client's personal data is strictly protected by us. We process your personal data both manually and in electronic information systems, which are subject to continuous and strict physical, technical, and procedural control. All individuals who come into contact with personal data within the performance of their work or contractually assumed duties are bound by confidentiality. Personal data may be transferred to a third country (outside the EU member states) in accordance with the conditions stipulated in the regulation, in the case of using cloud storage and applications operating in the software as a service mode.

Disclosure

Collected personal data may be disclosed to third parties without your consent only:

  • To processors, i.e., individuals with whom projectYOU has concluded a data processing contract and who provide sufficient guarantees of technical and organizational security of the provided data, such as online platforms.

  • To other persons, if necessary to protect the rights and legally protected interests of projectYOU, such as courts, bailiffs, auctioneers, etc., to the extent necessary to assert the claims of projectYOU.

  • To persons authorized by projectYOU to fulfill its contractual and legal obligations, including the realization of rights from contractual relationships (e.g., our facilitators).

Client's Rights

You have the right to access your personal data and other related information. Whenever you want to know what personal data we process, we will be happy to tell you. In such a case, you will receive your data in a structured, commonly used format. However, we may ask you to identify yourself appropriately beforehand. If you believe that we are processing inaccurate personal data, you have the right to have it corrected or supplemented. Furthermore, you can request the deletion or restriction of the processing of your data. Keep in mind that we must always retain data required by law and archive it for a specified period. At your request, we will ensure that access to such data is restricted. You also have the right to data portability, meaning you can request us to transfer your personal data to another controller.

You have the right to object to the processing of personal data that we carry out based on our legitimate interest. You can send your objection to hello@projectyou.cz. We will always inform you without undue delay about the handling of your request.
